EzIndex is an object-oriented, windows application, that allows a developer or end user to index xBASE files either locally or on a network. It creates indexes for use with either
Windows or DOS applications and functions well— with tables containing over 5,000,000 rows!

EzIndex works with "DBF" and "DB" file structures, regardless of the application development language used (dBASE, Clipper, Foxpro, Delphi, Visual Basic or Paradox). The base product includes index maintenance capabilities for Clipper's "NTX's",; Comix's "CDX",; and Foxpro's "IDX" and "CDX" formats. Paradox's "px", "x.?" and "y.?" and dBASE's "NDX" and "MDX" formats are also available.

This product uses the Data Dictionary concept to easily add, modify or delete indexes. It allows the user to index all files or just selected files displaying a windows odometer as it
progresses. The user can also intermix indexes, e.g. Files 1 and 2 use NTX but file 3 uses Comix. There is no programming required to implement this system. All you need to do is enter the index data and EzIndex does the rest.
